Creating a resilient Safety Leadership Culture in challenging areas is part of our DNA.
We prioritize regular communication, training, reporting, inspections, and leadership to ensure we are a trusted and safe pair of hands for our clients and partners.
Training and safety drills continue to be an important focus for our GCC Services Ivory Coast team who are busy safely operating large-scale Engineering, Procurement and Construction Projects for several clients in the country.
To develop and support a strong reporting culture, we ensure all our teams have access to up-to-date, complete safety information such as risk assessments, environmental impact and aspect assessments, and reporting systems across all project sites. This includes regular training on how to report safety hazards or any safety concerns.
The team conducts weekly safety training, recently holding mock fire and spill drills to ensure our team have the readiness and competence to manage any scenario. We continue to reduce and mitigate risks on-site and ensure our emergency response; first aiders, fire wardens and others are prepared and capable of reacting and supporting at the time of any emergency.
In difficult environments throughout Africa, we go above and beyond for our clients and work with local communities and other external parties to ensure the safety of our clients, partners and our people.
